Now in its second year, The Blue Earth Summit (BES) is the breakthrough business event, bringing people together to make positive change. This year, the event ran over three days at Bristol’s Propyard, and inland surfing destination, The Wave. A combination of keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, live pitching, networking, and a variety of outdoor activities provided a platform for businesses to inspire, connect and deliver long lasting change.
ClinkClink are fantastic partners to work with. The great thing about it is you know as an event organiser there’s a lot of moving parts going on and with ClinkClink, production is not something I have to worry about or my team have to worry about.

From a successful launch event in 2021, the Blue Earth Summit has seen its footprint increase by 430% year on year across attendees, speakers, stages, partners and applicants for its pitch tent. BES is on an upward trajectory for growth and has even more ambitious plans for 2023. Key to its success is its delivery ensuring an engaging and inclusive experience for attendees.
Kicking off at the Propyard, an open plan layout, making use of both indoor and outdoor space, gave visitors the opportunity to dip in and out of the sessions. The result was a much more fluid and collaborative environment than often seen in a traditional ‘conference’ setting. The addition of local food and beverage vendors, many with their own impressive sustainability credentials kept guests well fed and watered.
Working with the BES team again offered a great opportunity to review what we had learned first time around, and adapt our approach for Blue Earth Summit 2022. For example, all of our printed elements used recycled card and sustainable inks. We also added 250 live trees and plants to bring the event space to life, reducing the need for single use items to dress the space.
Importantly, we can now apply these lessons to our own business to reduce environmental footprint.
